1952		 Started PVA Sponge Business via Kanebo Group (at the time, Kanegafuchi Boseki KK, then later renamed as Kanebo, Ltd.).

1962		 Merged with Kanegafuchi Boseki KK.

1969		 Relocated factory from beside Sumida River, Tokyo to current location in Kitatone kogyo-danchi (industrial complex), Ibaraki as Kanto Plant.

1999		 Acquired ISO9001.

Founded AION Co., Ltd. as wholly-owned subsidiary of SOFT99 Corporation.
* Took over Chemical Products Business (Sponge Business, Tufbell Business) from Kanebo, Ltd. (at the time, Kanebo (in Chinese character), Ltd.).
