This is based on a concept to establish a system that can responsibly self-handle main industrial wastes generated in house.
To achieve this, a new incinerator that meets Law concerning Special Measures against Dioxins was introduced. It took more than 2 years to complete the incinerator since selection of the model was undertaken.
The AION's incinerator became the first in-house-operated industrial wastes incinerator which was completed in the western area of Ibaraki Prefecture after Law concerning Special Measures against Dioxins was put in force.
As compared to a conventional furnace, the new incinerator reduces dioxins emissions by more than 80% (both exhaust gas and combustion residue) and can suppress dioxins emissions to not more than one-tenth of the emission control value.
