PLAS SENU 2 Packs for Body and Window consists of two types of PVA sponge cloths with different surface finishes: an uneven emboss type that is easy on painted surfaces and an etching type with a chamois leather touch suitable for glass wiping.

This is a set of two types of sponge cloths with different surface finishes for PLAS SENU, the standard car body wipe for more than 50 years.

Instructions:

Use water to rinse the car body and window glass well.
Check that there is no dirt or abrasive dust on them.
Before wiping, dip the cloth in water and wring it out well.
To wipe off water, slide the cloth across the surface straight in one direction, not back and forth.
Repeat the “wipe and then wring” cycle as wringing out the cloth restores its absorbency.

Notes:

The isothiazolinone preservative contained in this product may cause allergic contact dermatitis.
Before first use, be sure to rinse the cloth in water well.
Use this product only for its intended purpose.
The cloth hardens upon drying. Before use, dip the cloth in (warm) water to soften it, and wring it out well.
Before use, rinse off any dirt that has adhered to the car body or other surfaces.
Leaving dirt and stains adhering to the cloth leads to mold and other problems. After use, rinse the cloth well, wring it out, and then store it in the dedicated case.
Do not put the cloth in hot water nor leave it in any place where it may be subject to high temperatures or direct sunlight.
For disposal, treat it as a combustible according to the procedure specified by your municipality.

FAQs REGARDING OUR CONSUMABLES

If the sponges are kept stored, they become hard. What should I do then?

Soaking the sponges in water, or if possible lukewarm water, will bring them back to their original softness.

Where can I buy Aion products?

The dealership or retailer selling your Aion products will differ depending on your product use. Please inquire by telephone or via the inquiry page on Aion's website. A sales representative from the relevant business division will get in touch with you.

Which is better, to store PLAS CHAMOIS products moistened, or to dry them out and store them?

That depends on how frequently the products are used. If you use a PLAS CHAMOIS product on almost a daily basis, we think it's fine to leave it moistened, but if you aren't going to be using a PLAS CHAMOIS for more than several days, squeeze the water out well, leave the product to dry naturally, and then keep it stored. Keeping a PLAS CHAMOIS product stored moistened can lead to its molding and mildewing.

I bought an Aion product, and when I took it out of the package, it was wet. Is that the way it is?

When moistened in water, our PVA sponge products are soft to the touch and demonstrate advanced moisture-absorbing functionality. For that reason, we offer our PVA sponge products treated with a mold-and-mildew blocker and packaged in the moistened state.
(Though the sponge products become hard when dried, wetting them again will put them back to normal.)

May PLAS CHAMOIS products be washed in the washer?

There are no problems with using your washing machine on PLAS CHAMOIS.

May Sponge-chiefs be washed in the washer?

Put Sponge-chiefs in a net and there will be no problems with using your washing machine on them.

Sponge cloths and blocks: Mold/mildew has dirtied mine. Please tell me how to remove the mold/mildew stains.

Use either an oxygen (non-chlorine) bleach or a chlorine bleach on the mold/mildew, ensuring the bleach is at a concentration in line with how bleach should be used, and afterwards rinse out the sponge item with plenty of water. This will not, however, be effective on all mold/mildew stains.

Sponge cloths and blocks: Please tell me how to remove grime soiling my sponge.

Rub-and-squeeze wash your sponge in water, or rub-and-squeeze wash your sponge using a neutral detergent.

Sponge cloths and blocks: Is there any problem with cutting the sponges into easy-to-use sizes?

There are no problems with slicing our sponges. Nevertheless, when slicing a sponge, take care not to leave score lines where the sponge could tear apart easily.

PLAS CHAMOIS and costers: Can they be custom-printed (e.g. monogrammed)?

The PLAS CHAMOIS case is hard to open, making it difficult to take out the towel. Is there a way to take it out easily?

As shown in the illustration, if you press with your thumb on the midportion of the case in its area of contact with the lid, the lid will be easy to take off.

May I use bleach on your products?

Employing bleach is possible if you ensure the bleach is at a concentration in line with how your bleach should be used. Since bleaching can cause the product to deteriorate, rinse it out well afterwards.
